Intervention accomplished in 2003

A restaurant having a total surface of 270 sq.mt. is located in Lierna (Lecco) on the lakeshore with a small wharf inserted in a natural setting that as a picture can be admired from all the side of the space. The retrieval state of the place was “tired” and traditional lacking of atmosphere and character, a common place. The aim of the project was to obtain a refreshment and enjoying place where people can start new relationships and feel welcome. A show restaurant where it is possible to celebrate the ancient union between nutrition and entertainment, full of mixtures of tastes and flavours in a context rich of atmosphere of ethnic inspiration. The architecture of this place evoking a very comfortable privacy was thought through the final users who want to nourish not only with the food but also with the fantasy coming from the surrounding atmosphere. The intervention accomplished involved not only the wall structure but also the plant necessary to a restaurant.

The spaces are divided through colours and different types of lighting: inside a chatting area, at the entrance a bar and reading area, a refreshment-area, outside a big relaxing area on the terrace which during the summer becomes a scenery of many events and place from which one can enjoy the view of the lake in front of the restaurant. The earthy-like colours like the red and the ochre as well as the blue and the light blue with some gold nuances in order to give brightness are the main elements of this intriguing place with warm atmospheres.
